Glasses-Free 3D Gaming: Toshiba Qosmio F750 Laptop

A product overview video we did for the Toshiba Qosmio F750 3D Laptop. We’re huge fans of anything that involves 3D gaming. If you prefer reading (which you probably don’t), here’s the full script: The Toshiba Qosmio F750 is a 3D graphics powerhouse, ready to handle the demands of extreme gamers, and it packpacks an incredible processing punch for intense multitasking with HD movies, photos, and video editing. The first of its kind to deliver a glasses-free 3D experience, it’s also ready for high-end 2D 1080p content. It sports a huge 15.6″ LCD Panel, supporting a high-res 1920×1080 display. The Qosmio uses the latest NVIDIA 3D Vision video card technology with a two full gigabytes of Video RAM dedicated specifically to graphics. Games and movies only have half the impact without sound, so Toshiba is ready to rattle some windows with premium Harman Kardon stereo speakers and a built-in subwoofer. Additional sound enhancement provided by Dolby Advanced Audio both Dolby Surround and MaxxAudio 3 by Waves, so you’ll get realistic 3D sound right from your laptop. Under the hood you’ll find a cutting-edge 2nd-generation Intel Core i7 processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0. It’s got the power to run any games or movie editing programs without any hangups or slowdowns, using multiple cores to muscle through multitasking, or overclocking a single core for ultimate performance, depending on what you’re doing. The Qosmio plays nice with others–it’s got 3D-ready onboard

3D TVs and computer monitors that use passive glasses technology can have a limited viewing angle. That is you need to view the screen with your eyes level with the center of the screen. As the vertical angle increases, either up or down, the polarization of the lenses will no longer work, which causes ghosting. In this demo, the proper viewing angle is achieved when the upper left and lower right black quadrants are uniformly colored. See my LG review: pubpages.unh.edu for more information.

3D without glasses / 3D ohne Brille (Cross-Eye)

To view the 3D image you must cross your eyes. Once your eyes are crossed you will notice a third image appear in between the two original images. Try and focus on this third image and eventually it should become 3D. If you have never viewed images this way before it may be a little difficult but practice makes perfect!
